LYNDA SMITH, Mentor

What do you consider to be your hometown?
Callahan.

What made you decide to mentor with Take Stock?
I was told about  this organization by a friend, Dotti Williams. Being recently retired, I knew I had the time to invest in students, something that was still a passtion. The rest is history.

How many students have you mentored?
Six.

What have you gained from mentoring Danyelle?
Each of the students I have mentored have had unique circumstances. With Danyelle, I am learning along with her, the path to scholarships outside of Take Stock. Together we are searching everything from resources to college choices and all that is required to be completed in her senior year.
